Work tank's new look
I have completely redone my work tank from a tropical, planted tank with rainbows and guppies to a goldfish tank with three fantails and some zebra danios (less labor intensive and more interesting for the kids). The goldfish were named by the students: Zelda (gold), Dimitri(calico) and Bach (orange). 55 gallon.

Nice! I am a special education teacher and want to put a fish tank in the class so badly. but... my student are very violent and a glass tank would be too dangerous. I was thinking about an acrylic tank because i know it calms them down to watch the fish swim back and forth. Nice set up.

we have a severe unit at my school and they bring the kids in to look at the fish all the time. They use it as a reward, or to help calm them down and they also use it as a tool to work on communication skills. I think it's given our office a much more friendly and relaxing vibe. An acrylic tank is a good idea for your situation. What age group do you work with?
