I am so glad you know he is full of it. If the readings are good, chances are the cycle hasn't even started. A month is a good timeline. My cycle in the large tank lasted about that long. Do you have a FW test kit?

I don't have any test kit, just for ph.
I did ask him if it was possible the
Cycle did not start yet and he said my nitrites were good and if the cycle did not
Start yet I would not have
Any nitrites at all. I will have the water tested at another place in about ten days.
The ammonia was good and the nitrates were 0. So he said. He was pissed he tested my water and I did not buy a fish.

the freshwater testkit from walmart also includes the high ph test which I always have to use tap is 8.0-8.2 already. The saltwater testkits are half price at walmart.com just sayin.

Dream to reef .... You follow me around like a stalker.
Umm, I hate to ask but please tell me you are using something to lower that ph in your water.
FW fish will not do well in ph that is that high. They will certainly DIE..
I swear to god you throw this crap out just to irritate me.

Finally got my tank to cycle.
So, here is a picture.....
I have a red headed goby in there, and a peppermint shrimp.
So far, so good.

Wow, that fluval is gorgeous. Stingray please keep the updates coming on this tank, if it works out for you I might consider unapologetically stealing your idea, lol.

Looks awesome!

Love the way you have the rock setup, it looks like a mountain top!

No problems with the temp, but sometimes I have to take the cover off.
Tekneb, I'll let you know how it works out. Thanks everyone.
