Trying to clear the stupidness out of the main screen huh?
Most rocks are probably safe if washed. You could even use a little bleach if you're worried about micro-organisms or toxins.
What kind of rocks are you talking about?

If found in a stream bed I'd say they were safe as they have been in water before.
The only bad thing I could think of is from some kind of rock that is say taken from a gravel pit or open mine where something bad could leech into the water, and that is just a guess.
I'd say most rocks when washed are fine in any tank.

Some rocks will affect the ph of your tank. If they fizz when vinegar is poured on them they contain calcium, which will raise your ph.
