is there a sand for freshwater tanks?

Pool Filter sand goes in the filter of the pool. Like this one. It is not for building pools.

I used CaribSea Aragonite Seaflor Special Grade Reef Sand in my cichlid tank. It was about $25 for 40lbs and my cichlids love it

I paid like $7 for 80lbs of playsand, hehe...
