I had one and he only grew to 6 inches in 4 years, didn't move around that much and would do fine in a 20g long. The striped peacock is the smallest variety of spiny eels available....

Your tank is a 20long right? They do bury themselves, but not all the time. Look on my profile for my old one.

They might eat a tiny baby guppy or neon, but nothing bigger like platties or lager tetras. They love to eat chopped worms and live mosquito larva.

I have a inch of gravel, and will they eat mythis shrimp. Im alergic to brineworms ( like some hobbiest are)

They bury themselves but leave their head out. Peacock or tiretrack eels are the smallest. They will eat your shrimp!! They love ghost shrimp.
