I don't think 30 gallons is big enough for 4 angels. Assuming the tank is sufficiently tall enough, i wouldn't do any more than two, especially w/the fish you already have in there (or when you say restocking do you mean you will be removing those?).

Yea, I was thinking 2 would be about the most. Restocking, I do mean a complete restock, I may keep my Cories. I have 3 spotted and my one African Dwarf Frog. The tetras and danios will go back my lfs, and I have a new home waiting for the Gourami. With just the 2 Angels and the Cories, would Rainbow fish be a good larger schooling fish? They are in the 4 in range? I think I could get away with 5 or 6. Or are there any other thoughts on fish that would be happy with Angels?

I have about 6 barbs(3 tiger/ 3 green) with my two Angels that get along pretty good. Just make sure that you get enough barbs. A minimum of 5 that way they chase each other and leave the Angels alone. The barbs will get about 2.5-3 in max in size, which is a pretty good size for a schooling fish.

I hear that the green barbs are a little less aggressive. So thats an option for sure, although I am drifting back to centerpieces and schools!

If you go w/a small school of 4 inch rainbows, i think you're going to have to eliminate the angels altogether. I'd do either: 2 angels, 5 corys, 5-7 small schooling fish. OR 5-6 4 inch rainbows, and 5 corys.
