Something wrong with protein skimmer help :(

by FishFanatic4021

for some reason my seaclone protein skimmer isnt collecting any waste at the waste chamber, it wont really bubble at the top and i dont think its even producing a vortex,

also it was leaking at the tube that bring the water into the skimmer, at the part where u screw that tube to the skimmer itself, i sealed the leak, could that have anything to do with it?

Replace the plastic valve they give you with a brass valve, ask your LFS for one and they'll probably just give it to you.

buy a prizem pro skimmer it wiil collect all nutrients off the top of the water + you can put carbon on the inside of it . and run both of your skimmers.
