If you could only keep one type of aquatic being, what would it be?
I'm new and not sure yet, but I'm partial to Bettas mostly because I've had them for a few years. I got my first real tank in February and am getting to know different kinds of fish. (And one frog)

yeah... if i could have one species of fish it would require a huge tank...
i would want either a freshwater river dolphin... i think there are only 6 in the world now...
or a huge pond with some airipaima gigas... man that would be the best...

i have exactly what i want, discus, the only problem is i want a bigger tank something near 1000 gallons with all live plants and about 150 or more discus but that's just a dream for now. eventually though i am pretty sure i will have it. i eventually want one pair of each color variance that there are today. sounds crazy but it's just where i am at right now.

1000 gallons...I can't even imagine. Although I did see the saltwater aquarium at The Mirage in Vegas....it's 20,000 gallons and is installed in the wall behind the lengthy registration desk.

I love small tetras, like cardinals and neon. Anything that groups together and have bright colour. Bosemani rainbows are nice too.
