Starfish suggestions

What are some interesting starfish you'd recommend? Nothing too difficult to keep alive. Thanks.

Chocolate chip starfish! Easy to keep and often visible, unlike some types where you never see them.

We love our serpent starfish! He does keep hidden most of the time but we set up some live rock near the front of our tank & he hangs out there now. So cool to watch "walk" across the tank too!

That's a good idea. Often the 'issue' with starfish is you don't often see them so it's disappointing if you wanted a cool new inhabitant in your aquarium, but with this idea (If it works) than you can get a good look at them whenever you want. Personally I think starfish are really cool. I'll have to google serpent starfish, I don't remember what they look like. I don't know if I've seen any before.

We made sure two line are live rock along side of the tank so that all of the good hiding spots were still visible to us. It has worked out great ever since and he even walks across the bottom of the tank at times to move over to the other Rock piles we have set up. It took some trial-and-error to find out what he liked but the payoff has been very beneficial. I have a picture of him on my profile you can check out

Just saw your pictures Sienna, what a cool starfish! No wonder they call 'em serpent starfish

Now I've got a new saltwater creature to put on my wish list, lol.
