Badis badis fish are such pretty little fish - what are they like?

Badis are easy to keep, people normally keep them in small species only tanks. They usually stubbornly refuse to eat flakes/pellets but love live foods like bloodworms. They're easy to keep overall. They spawn really easily too when kept in a species only tank. You'd want to have a group of them (mixed sex) considering they're social. They don't school or shoal, their behavior is sort of like cichlids.
