Favorite plants?
What are your favorite plants? Particularly plants that do well in smaller tanks... I need some inspiration!

I really like big Amazon Swords! They give off a neat, sort of tropical vibe I think. I want to get some for my 100 gallon, which is currently plantless so looking kind of barren. I think the swords will make it look bigger even.

Does algae count? I love marimo moss balls! They're so cool looking. You'd think it was moss, but nope, they're fibrous balls of algae!
It's funny because most fish keepers don't want algae anywhere near their aquariums - except for when it comes to marimo balls!

Oh cool, I didn't realize those were algae! I assumed from the name that they were moss balls. I guess the name is a misnomer then isn't it, lol.
