Just wanted to post tank update and thank everyone for your input.

Ammonia 0 ppm Nitrite 0 ppm and Nitrate 10-20 ppm fish happy and healthy and playing in the bubbles lost a few plants but others doing well....

live plants are quite finicky, sometimes more so than fish...but in time, via adjustment, certain plants that can adapt to your tank will live others will die out..........of course, unless you inject chemicals like C02 into the tank (something I frown upon, I prefer the all natural way)....nevertheless, it appears all is well in the tank
