does anyone have experience with these?
i saw them for the first time and they looked stunning.
my question is do they school or swim by them selves, what sort of size do they get to as i have a largish knife that will go for anything close to the size of a guppy. and whats their temprement like as i have large discus i wouldnt want any sort of agressive fish

That's very cool coloration. Sword tails are peaceful fish. I don't know about their compatibility with ghost knives or with discus. When you buy them from the pet store, they are usually sold as juveniles and are quite small...maybe snack size for your ghost knife, i'm not sure. Beautiful fish though. Oh, i think they prefer to be kept in groups several females to a male.

I know for sure that you want about 3 to 4 females to one male. And they are live bearers so you will have alot off babies
