Do snails apply to the inch per gallon rule?

by Soupy

I was just wondering.. I have a mystery snail in my fish tank and i thought it would be nice to get one or two more. Would this put much stress on the tank? Its not a fish so im not sure if it counts.

If you only have 1 mystery snail, you wont get any others. A male and a feamle is required for breeding.

If you have hundreds of snails, then yes it will have an impact on bioload

if they do get to be too numerous get an assassin snail. it will kill and eat the others.
