Lack of driftwood can kill plecos

Let me clarify. I'm not disagreeing that lack of driftwood can kill plecos. Just that you should rule out poor water conditions.

I like the chinese and siamese algae eaters more fun to watch. The albino ones are ok as well. They all don't get quit that big.

My Pleco is about 5 inches long and I figure he still has at least another 6 inches to grow so I am looking for a new home for him right now. I will probably take him to my lfs and see if they will take him. Does anyone have a suggestion for a species that will stay small enough to live in a 10 gallon permanently.

1. Black Kuhlii Loach
2. Harlequin Rasbora
3. Endler's Livebearer

4 of each will make a nice community tank
