y did my plecos die :(

i had 2 plecos and they died i dont know y any anwsers

We're going to need some more info than that. Tank size, tank mates, tank stats (ammonia, nitrate, nitrite, ph, and temp), any symptoms before the fish died?

Plecos should have some wood source as they require it to aid digestion :)

oh ok were would i get the wood and how many plecos should i get for a 55 gallon i got 2 last time

any malaysian wood will do...very easy to find online:

Before you add new fish to the tank, please check your stats! Don't just assume it was the lack of drift wood. As for how many, it depends on the species. Some plecs get HUGE. I wouldn't put a single common plec in a 55 gallon.

I agree with natalie, some can get over 1 foot long
