led v metal h

ive been told led lights are av to replace my 250w metal h ,cheap ,low heat and more power can anyone confirm this and where do you get them?

definitely cheaper energy costs. not even close on power. for low light plants they are good but for reef and high light plants i would not do it. i am actually swapping some of my tanks over soon to save on my energy bill but they are low light planted tanks or fish only.

i would go t5 if ur looking for cooler and cheaper with good light output, no way on the led's, great for nightlights(blue) and low light plants, not for reefs!
