it kind of looks like Ludwigia Peruensis

My first thought was also Ludwigia.

It looks to be Alternanthera reineckii.

How long have you had it? It really requires high light, excellent substrate. A difficult plant

The plant is called Alternanthera reineckii. I have this in my planted aquarium and I love the plant.

and a pain in the ass to keep in the substrate. i need some sticks to tie them to

i dont think its actually any of those
its green on the tops, and the leaves are kinda curley
i think it was an a____ scarlette , something.. nevermind
ill just have to bring a pen with me next time i go to the pet store
