Painting a background for tank! Suggestions?

by Candanceee

I'm going to paint a background for my tank tomorrow. I like to do DIY projects with my tank, couldn't you tell? hehe... I purchased the colored glass chunks, the martini glass & the vase at the dollar store :P The brown pot on the left was used for candles and I figured someone would love to use it as their home in my tank and it was a perfect fit for my red fin shark! I made the little shell shack in the back left out of broken conch shells I found in North Carolina. I love getting creative with it!
Any suggestions as to what I should include in the background painting?

Okay so this was definitely two topics in one thread, leave it to me to go off topic :P Buuuut I would love to know some of the ways you guys have gotten creative with making things for your tanks!

Also get the sealer for this type of paint.
