Welcome to the forum. Have you decided what fish to put in?

I'm planning on probably some glofish, tetras, gouramis, guppies, ghost shrimp, danios, maybe loaches or algea eaters. rainbows. Should look pretty:). Waiting on my ph levels to decrease before I get some fish.

BTW I disagree on Mro2you2's comment. Most aquariums are a toy:) Its fun and an amusement or otherwise you would not do it. My Aquarium is bright and vibrant just like my personality:) If I want a Murloc in my aquarium it is my desire, just like your desire is to have rocks and plants. The fish don't care as long as they are taken care of correctly.

Different person but thanks for asking:) That center piece is at Petsmart at all stores:)http://www.ratemyfishtank.com/friendemail.php/31597 I think is the guy you were refering too. He lives in California, I live in Texas. He has fish, I don't yet:) Keep trying Mro2you2:) I like his tank though, hope mine can look as vibrant some day:) I hope to pick up some starter fish today after i get my Ph levels down a little further. Went to a few petsmarts last night and was scoping out which stores treated their fish better and had a nicer selection.

Be careful not to overstock. Many of the fish you are interested in should be kept in groups of five or more.

Why are you waiting for your ph to go down (and what are you doing to bring it down?)and how are you cycling your tank?

I ended up picking up A Red and Blue Dwarf Gourami, 2 Swordtails, and 2 Dolmations. After a Week or 2 after the cycle begins to flow better I will grab a few more fish at a time.
