I've been using the Eheim autofeeder over long weekends, and fasting them on normal 2 day weekends. This seems to work fine. Still a little worried about summer break. Don't like the idea of only seeing my tank once a week for two months, but it has been such a nice addition to the office! We have a couple of special ed. kids who get to come look at the tank as a reward or to help them calm down if they are having a bad day, and a few faculty members who do the same! One of my best TAs helps me by testing the water and another TA helps me with the cleaning. So, i think its been a really good thing, and the fish seem happy and healthy too. I should post some new pics. The plants have really taken off.
