My New Set Up

by bennyphan

My new setup guys, IT WAS A PAIN IN THE BUTT!!! Sticking with this one for a while. Don't like changing the setup too much, too often... I think it stresses out the fish. I like this set up better; frees up more space for the fishes to swim. I would love an honest opinion from yah guys. Advice? Suggestions? Thanks again!

Yuck that tank is all white! lol

What kind of room is behind the wall? I've thought about a built in tank but am not sure this house is where i am spending the rest of my life.

LOL! Pretty funny...

I placed the tank in the washer and dryer room. Yeah I probably won't stay in this for more than 5 years. But I can always buy dry wall and paint it back up.

I am already thinking what will i do when i get new carpet in a few years. I guess you wouldn't have that problem sense you don't have a giant white stand there.

I eventually want to go with salt water. I am just afraid I am not ready for it. let alone its more expensive hobby, but requires more of your attention

I think it looks great! The only thing i would change is replacing the blue and pink plants w/more natural looking ones. Just a personal preference. I love how it's built into the wall. Looks very professional.

no, you have a good eye, initially when I was starting up my tank, I wanted to add some color right away to it. but now, that I have more fishes, they bring lots of color to my tank. I will eventually get rid of the blues, and pinks plants and replace them with some natural green.

Salt is maybe a bit more difficult to setup but once it gets going, its good. Especially reef tanks or anything with LR. It becomes its own ecosystem and takes care of itself.
