I recently got a 10 gallon tank. I got it up and running and everything. But, after I got my fish I realized I made a bad choice. I got a Parrot Fish, an Albino Pleco, and a Cory Cat. I know this isn't a good choice because the Parrot Fish can get up to 8 inches and the Cory Cat is a schooling fish. But, I decided I am going to get a bigger tank. It's 56 gallons, but I have to wait until June. So, What I am asking is what do you think I should do with these fish? Should I get more Corys? Or another Parrot? Or should I just wait until I get my big tank.
Oh, and my Parrot Fish just hides in the back under the stairs. Is he lonely or are Parrot Fish just shy?

isn't a parrot fish a marine fish? yet you have a cory cat?
maybe you can take the fish back to the store for an exchange...see, once again, store salespeople do not know what they are doing.
You will need a good 120 gallon tank just for the parrot. If you get the bigger tank, then you can leave the other fish in the 56 gallon.
Parrot fish are territorial, and in a 10 gallon tank, trouble will set in.
I don't blame you at all for this mishap, I blame the store.
Can you tell me exactly the type of parrot fish you have?

Well, at the store it just said Purple Parrot. And maybe I could get something like a 30 gallon for the Parrot? Or would that be too small.

That's exactly what he looks like. But do you think I should put him in the 56 gallon or buy a 30 gallon and put him in it instead?

Ok. What other fish would you recommend putting in there with him? And do you think I should get another Cory since they are schooling fish?
