Total Newbie In Need of Help

by jayjmendoza

Hi All,

I'm new to the fish scene and this is the first fish tank that I have owned.

I have an in wall fish tank 52 Gallons, Open top. Fluval in tank filter. Freshwater Tropical.

At the moment there is no fish as I have had problems in bringing the pH level down.
I have finally got it right but have now found a slimy growth on the driftwood.

Is this something that I need to be worried about?

Are there anytips that I may find useful with my current setup.

Thanks,

Thanks for the advice.

There was no extra cost to put it in the wall. Just the same as if I were to have ordered a regular fish tank.

I specified the dimensions of the tank at my local aquarium and they made it according to my instructions. took it home and installed myself.

In total approximately $1,200AUD. The most expensive things really was the driftood and the large rock!
