Hi!

by megski

I'm Meagan and I'm new to the site and to managing my new salt water aquarium! I have a few questions about how to use the website. I tried using the search feature but couldn't find an answer so forgive me if my questions have been asked already!

Is there a way or code to copy the 'view my aquarium' button to use on my personal website? Its bare and a little embarrassing at the moment, but I'd still like the opportunity to show my aquarium to my friends.

While you're browsing the gallery, is there a way to select pictures as a favorite and look at later?

Thanks in advance for all your help!

Thank you. :) I also sent my questions to feedback. I would especially love to have the feature to add pictures into a 'favorites' album.

Hi megski, welcome to the site. Your questions are way to technical for me to help you with but I hope you enjoy being on this site anyway.

i don't think you can do either of what you are asking. you can however, save the images to your C:/ drive and put them on your site if you have uploading capabilities. if not then you can use photobucket, or many other photo uploading sites out there and you can direct link them to show pictures on any site or forum.

Hello and welcome. To first save the image you have to right click on it and then select (on most browsers) ''save image as''.

The rest depends on your knowledge of html editing and whether or not your website provider allocates space for files such as images and also the ability to upload edited html files from an html editor or directly edit the html and apply the changes. one of the most basic is linking images by using the <a href""><img src=""></img></a> most website hosters have editors that make it easier though...at least thats the best I can remember. ;)

Thanks to everyone that welcomed me! And as I mentioned before to Boss, I sent my question to feedback, and was told the 'favorite' feature was a great idea and would be created in the next month or so! So hopefully soon we can all look forward to an awesome new feature to the site.
