An inconvenient truth.

by ChristinaBug2890

My careless family needs to take a hike this holiday season. The relitaves came down to spend some time (sleeping over an the whole deal) and tonight i stumbled in late to find all of my aquarium equipment un-plugged. For how long? I have no idea. So its all been quietly plugged back in and hopefully they wont disrupt it again. Either deal with it and sleep with it on or sleep somewhere else. seriously. If i end up with dead fish in the morning i'll be pissed.

Can anyone estimate how long everything will survive with the filter, air, and potentially the heater off too? Lets say it maintains a temp just above 70? Grrrrrrr.

I hear ya.
Where there are people, there are problems. The more people, the more problems...

Maybe some coldplay and a set of headphones might make you feel better. =D

I think you will be fine with the filter not plugged in, when I had a power filter in my tank I unplugged it everynight, that was years ago though. Cansiters are way quieter.
But ya I would be pissed.
