Buying new tank:need opinions on fish

by JamesC

Hey everybody so in the next 3 months I am going to buy a large salt water acrylic tank. The dimensions are going to be 96x32x34 about 450g. I have been doing research and have come up with a list I fish I want to buy. This tank will have live rock and some corals. I just want to know everyone’s opinion on it. Thanks-James

Yellow tang-2
Purple Tang-1
Chevron Tang-1
Kole Yellow Eye Tang-1
Achilles Tang-1
Queen Angelfish -1
Firefish-2
Mystery Wrasse-1
Kaudern cardinal fish-10
True Percula Clownfish-2
Bartlett’s Anthias-3
Blue/Green Reef Chromis-5
Neon Goby-2
Dracula Goby-1
Six Line Wrasse-1
Scarlet Pin Stripe Wrasse-1
Scarlet Skunk Cleaner Shrimp-3

This is just a ballpark idea as of now.

Your talking roughly.......80 inches + of fish. 1 inch per 5 gallons.....thats 400 gallons. Sounds about right. only thing is...DAMN thats a lot of water. haha Sounds solid....but make sure you get your equipment running and trouble free before the addition of fish. The skimmer on this tank will be more than the tank will be its self. Keep us posted sounds awesome!

You can't have a saltwater tank without a triggerfish!

Not necessarily blue shoes.
Black nigger triggers are reef safe with caution like any fish. I think sometimes queen niggers are ok to. I have attached a pic of mine. Never even looks at a coral.
Yes blue and yellow tangs prob will fight because they are very similar.

lol....Puffedup...I think you may have just had a Freudian slip there. I have never heard of that type of Trigger! Are you a Kevin Smith or George Carlin fan?
