off topic, about the internet

by Mike0372983

Haven't been having any problems with the computer itself, but nothing will load on the internet. All the other laptops in my house aren't having the same problem, just mine.
Like the website will load, but on youtube not videos will load. NONE at all...

I kind of fixed it by downloading safari, and it works. But I do like internet explorer better.
Any advice what to do, and why its happening?

Do not know what your ISP is, but if you have trouble getting online or downloading from the internet, try either Ultra Browser or Slim Browser (which you can find on CNET).

I have problems with internet explorer 7. I liked IE6 much better. Too many bugs in IE7. For instance, when I close IE7, it stops working. I have to click on close it several times. So it is probably nternet explorer itself rather than your computer.

My best advice is, try another browser like I listed above. If these do not help, you may need to uninstall internet Explorer and reinstall it. I am not an expert on INternet Explorer, but possibly this will help.

I am sure others have ideas on this subject as I only have intermediate knowledge on this computer issue.

hope this helps

i use google chrome. It has a cool sleek look, and saves every log on name and password I have, so when i click a site i just have to hit sign in. Makes things 1,000 times easier than remembering 10 passwords.
