Are they destructive???
Will they devour my fish???
Are they reef safe ???
Help me decide.

i would say yes. mine dosent bother any of my fish, he hides most of the time and my wife hand feeds it.

i have had no trouble at all. maybe because he is still small or i keep him well fed i wanted to see him eat the damsels but they sorta push him around. its a nice addition i think

i had one for a few months and he was fine. they eat thawed out silversides and table shrimp really easily, just dont overfeed them...like i did. also, any fish that are the size of its head...are fair game. one of my smaller blue damsels found out the hard way...

he didnt bother my hermits, or my snails and urchins and stars. but i know once they get bigger, they will snatch up ornamental shrimp.

all in all, reef same and very interesting....but be careful what you choose for tankmates...gobies and small damsels...prolly not a good idea
