i just bought an aligator pipefish. my lfs said its been eating frozen mysis for a few months now.

i went through the whole acclimation process...but hes just sorta floating at the top of the tank...if i poke him, he will swim down, but then float back up. is there something wrong with him?

every time I see a pipe fish its at the top of the water. Scub diving in the keys they always stay in the top foot of water.........not sure if its normal or not though.
