New Google Chrome beta!

by jweb1369

Just downloaded Google's new browser called Chrome. It functions very nicely and doesn't bog down, has better security, faster load times, and a bunch of nice new upgrades. I recommend it and you guys should check it out. It is made to fit your individual web surfing needs and saves pages on the homepage that you visit most often. My fav feature is that when you open a new window it functions as a completely different application and won't crash all the windows in the unlikely case of a crash. Only one window will close if this happens. The look is simplistic and perfectly flawless. No page seems on the sides or bottom! It's great and thought I'd mention it to my fish friendlies.

I need someone to come and like erase my entire hard drive and reload all the programs. I've got a nasty virus and I cant go anywhere there could be nasties that will infect me. The thing won't start out of "safe" mode and I can't do picturs or music.

PK, what OS you running? Do you have the original disk? Do you have one or more HD's? How much storage space is their on it/them? It might be more simple than you think.

I'm more than happy with mozilla firefox (other than I can't seem to get my account recognized long enough to post a reply on this website.........grr) but I might check this chrome out anyway...

yea chrome is better i think, atleast better looking. it offers to remember passwords and everything so when u get to a site everything is pre-filled and you just hit login. It's sweet. Google said they are pushing browser to the new era, since they haven't much changed since the internet was invented. Now that I think about it IE is probably the worst to use because everyone who has even tried hacking can have success on it. I think with having the new google browser it will be quite a bit harder since it's completely a new concept.

PK, if you have the original install disk for whatever OS you're running and a second hard drive with some room, or even a CD/DVD burner it'd be real easy to reformat your machine. If you want help just let me know.

now that I use chrome every day I have found that there are some websites that seem to have errors. I report errors to google so hopefully with their actual version of chrome, not the beta version, things will be fixed.
