This might be a weird topic?

Alright I know that this is kind of weird but it just seems like I am picking up poop a lot in my tank. I only have 4 fish in a 125 right now and it just seems like I am picking up poop twice a day. And my question is, how often does an average fish poop? I know that it has to do with how much you feed them but, I was just wondering if maybe I feed my fish too much.

you need more water flow, better filtration. your water flow should keep the poop suspended long enough for the filters to take out of the water

Agree with pimp.

More flow and circulation is needed. My sand is always clean with just 40x turnover rate. Every other month or so, I take one of the powerheads and blow the detritus out of the rock but thats it as far as poop maintenance goes.

alright i just got back from my LFS and he said that my power heads were the right ones for the tank. It is just weird, it like when ever a fish poops it is always pushed down into the sand from the output from the sump. What is a good way to prevent it from being pushed down?

Most LFS people are full of shit or don't know shit or just don't care about your tank.

From your pic, I don't see any powerheads. All I see are 2 return nozzles. What pump is being used for the return?

Do you have any powerheads in the display tank? If so, what are they?
