Nannacara anomala (face model) |
| Advice: |
Plan carefully before buying the first tank.
Don't start with livebearers, or you'll end up with tens of them, leaving no space for future aquisitions.
It's better to underfeed, than overfeed.
You should have a smaller spare tank to use as an hospital or quarantine aquarium |
| Fish Kept: |
West African Biotope: Pelvicachromis pulcher, Aphyosemion australe, Barbus bariloides ||| French Guyana Biotope: Nannacara anomala, Rosy tetra, otocinclus sp., Corydoras paleatus ||| Other tanks: Dicrossus filamentosus, Paracheirodon innesi, aplocheilus werneri |

One is never enough.... |
| About Yourself: |
I got into the hobby originally because my old man had an empty tank built into the wall when he bought this new house, which had a painting covering it up. I eventually convinced him it was a good idea to put some fish in it as long as i looked after it....
This wasn't too long ago - maybe November 2007 - since then i've swapped so many different fish with mate of mine, i cant keep up! But i think i've settled with these lil Fronts - good looking lil suckers =)
I have 2 tanks - the smaller 90ltr and a larger 150ltr (the one in the wall - although it LOOKS larger than 150ltrs when looking at the 90 next to it - although measurements and aquarium calculators tell me otherwise)
The larger tank houses 7x clown loaches, 1x Sailfin Pleco and 2x red devils - a male and a female =) |
| Advice: |
Don't be lazy or impatient? I'm new too! -lol- |
| Fish Kept: |
5x Burundi Frontosa
1x Sailfin Pleco
20-Odd Neon Tetras |
| Plants Kept: |
1x Fake coral rock in centre
4x Fake plants

*Fluval 205 Canister Filter - Standard sponges and (Bottom to top) *Purigen & Carbon *Matrix *Fluval Noodles (i think that's right - was 2 weeks ago now... only just installed it -lol-)
*Scuba 50 - 50w heater
