about to change but currently i have a single MH with dual 420 460 actinics also getting a bigger tank but this is my work in progress till my new tank is ready so all filtation is for a planned 120-180 gallon tank i have a 55 custom 4 stage sump refug & frag octopus nw200 moded skimmer 18watt uv filter 6x spin high dwell time phosban reactor 150 used for carbon and the white filter rocks that hold good bacteria as i have no phopsphate problems eheim return pump cpr overflow with pump powerheads x2 on timer system dual outlet for sump return i do religious water changes and use tropic marin salt also use elos pro skimmer and hqi coral food also cyclopeeze all on alternating days i use a vitamin and amino acid supplement and reef builder alkilinity buffer by seachem as needed |

Tank size * 5ft x 2ft x 2ft, Sump 5ft x 18" x 21" Octopus HOB skimmer which is now in sump,1 Ehiem 2500 ltr p/h External Canister Filter, 4 - Metal Halides - 150 watt each with 20000k Bulbs, 2 Ehiem 800 ltr p/h internal Power Heads, Fluro T5 bar with Blue Actinic Grow Lights, 2 x 300 watt heaters (one just incase) 1 return pump from sump pumping at a rate of 7500 ltrs p/h. Halides running for 8 hours with the actinics running 1 1/2 hours either side of that. Also middle section of sump is a refugium, with 2 bar fluros for lighting on the oppisite hours to main tank. Caluprea growing in tank for nitrate reduction purposes. |

I have 48"x24"x24" Oceanic 120 gallon with a 40 gallon sump. My lights are current outer orbit HQI 48" 560 watt lights. I have a ASM G3 skimmer, use two phos-reactors with carbon and ROWRban phosphate removal and run a UV sterlizer always. I also run 2 tunze streams on a controller and have a Reeflo Snapper Sequence pump slowed down to approxiamtely 2500 GPH. I use a tunze top off system which works perfectly. I also use th SpectraPure LiterMeter III to dose Ocean's Blend parts A + B. I have 19 fish, 2 anenomes, 1 linkia starfish, 3 Maxima Ultra Clams, a large Derse clam, a few of other invertabrates and keep a large variety of hard and soft corals. I do a 35 gallon water change every two weeks and water comes off of a RO/DI filter. My levels are always kept at 0 with a temp between 78 and 81 degrees. My tank has only been up and running for about 8 months now. |
