My tank is a homemade reef show tank,
It is 2- 75 gallons stacked on each other,
that is the only way to describe it.I'm running 2-175 hqis.,and 2 48inch vhos,
Little giant pump,which pumps about 800 gph.I have a 30 gollon long,that I made into a sump,full of live rock & fiji mud,whith 110 watts of power compact.
And a whole butt load of different seagrass |

Patience... don t believe everything the shops tell you. They try to sell you anything and nothing!!!! Dont be impulsive and always get a second source of information! Don t forget fishs and corals are very precious living creatures. |

Second tank. Changed from a 25gl to a 75gl fish tank after just 3 month. This one has been running since August 07. No fish died, am very patient. Don t forget this is a very special place and therefore it needs a lot of attention. Last thing you want is to loose fishes to silly avoidable mistakes. So before setting up a tank get information. I looked for information for about 2 months before setting up a tank. |

Youll have to spend money in this hobby. I highly recommend a Reefkeeper or Aquacontroller this was my BEST INVESTMENT to manage my temp and lighting. Many DIYs on the internet. For ex. I made a top off system for less than $20 and it works great. Rock, corals, and lighting are the most expensive, buy a good oversized skimmer, and use ONLY RO/DI water |

Helped out at an aquarium shop for about 6 months, learned a ton about reefing, from there decided that I wanted to get in to the hobby, my friend eric set up a 55 gallon marine tank, from there I had to up the anty so I went to a 75 custom tank, never looked back. |

Stick with it. It can get expensive, but the money and time is well worth that first......"Wow this tank looks amazing!" or that "I have never seen this before, I didn't even know the oceans had this much life!" Blah blah blah.... |
