Description: 55 Gallon Lake Malawi Mbuna Set-up. This is my favorite tank to watch! Rocks are Lava Rock, and a couple big river rocks underneath for stability. I have black PVC “caves” under all the rocks and two pieces hanging at the back corners as hideouts for females. There are also a couple fake plants for color. Substrate is play sand. I add an African Cichlid buffer with each water change to keep the pH at a steady 8.2. Fish are: Electric Yellow Labs (Labidochromis Caeruleus), Red Zebras (Metriaclima Estherae), Pseudotropheus Yellow Tail Acei, Ice Blue (Metriaclima Greshakei), Labidochromis Hongi, and a Rainbow Shark. African Mbuna will thrive and be happy with the right set-up: a high pH, a lot of rocks and caves and all fish at similar aggression levels. When they are happy they do not hide, they are constantly busy and will spawn all the time.

Description: 15 gal. Brackish water tank. "Guppie City" over 50 endler guppies, 2 red fry Swordtails and 3 sunset platy's With 2-10/20 wisper bio ball-fliters. About 4.5 ounces of sea salt added per gallon.

Description: 100 Gallon Tank with about 30 fish. Most plants are fake. The T-Bar Cichlid's have had about 4 batches of babies in this tank. They've made their home in a broken clay pot under the large piece of wood on the right side. So far about 38 babies have been rescued and placed in small tanks. The wood on the right side is still leaching but I love the look of an interesting piece of drift wood. I had no idea how hard it is to take a picture of a fish tank! :P.
