Angelfish Question
Hello! I am new to the forum, though I have been reading as much as I can on here for the last couple months as I have been getting ready to upgrade my tank. I now have a 29 gallon freshwater tank that has cycled for the last two months and is ready to go. I am very excited to stock it, and have settled on Angelfish. I have done as much research as I can but one question I haven't seen an answer to is this: If I am to get two of these beautiful fish, but am not concerned with breeding them, should I get 1 male and 1 female, 2 males, or 2 females? I am not concerned with breeding, just with them being happy and healthy. I am also not against just keeping one and a couple other community fish if it means he will be more healthy and happy. Any advice?

Re: Angelfish Question
Honestly angels are best kept as singles, a breeding pair or in a large school.
Keeping 2 in a tank that are either both male or both female or not a pair can end badly

Re: Angelfish Question
in a tank that size only do 1 angel. with how big they can grow you do not want more than one especially since they are an aggressive fish.
