Image Rules

  • To keep the site as fast as possible, all images must be:
    • less than or equal to 800 x 1200 pixels in size
    • smaller than 102K in file size
  • Allowed:
    • pictures of your fish tanks
    • image file types:
      • .jpg
      • .JPG
      • .jpeg
      • .JPEG
      • .png
      • .PNG
      • .gif
      • .GIF
  • Not allowed:
    • pornography of any kind
    • non fish tank or related pictures
    • no commercial content (all uploaded pictures become the property of Rate My Fish Tank but may be deleted by you anytime by logging into your account)
    • animals other then what is in a fish tank
    • pictures with the majority non fish tank esque

  • All images are reviewed before being shown on the site. If you upload or link to anything not allowed, it will be deleted. Please also note if you link to a remote image it may later be downloaded and served from Rate My Fish Tank to ensure quality control.
