Country: Canada
Description: 29 gallon bowfront aquarium. Corallife freshwater compact fluorescent fixture (130W). 2.5" fluorite substrate. Two DIY CO2 reactors. Eheim classic 2213 filter.
Advice: Don't cut corners if you want a real planted tank. Some parts of the tank are just going to cost money and time. The end result is definitely worth it, though.
Fish Kept: scarlet badis (dario dario), 2 black angelfish, otocinclus
Corals/Plants: "Rose" sword, Red tiger lotus, Red lotus, Java moss, Blyxa japonica, Hemianthus micranthemoides, Anubias v. nana, Glossotigma
Tank Size: 29 gallons
Quote: Take that, Space Coyote!
About Yourself: I got into fish when I met my fiance, who had a betta and a white cloud minnow in a little plastic tank. I had never been big into fish - although I had kept and bred a lot of reptiles - but I convinced him to set up a 10 gallon tank for them. 10 gallons turned into 100 gallons, and here I am today. My 29 gallon is *my* tank, though, and it's coming together. I love this hobby!
