I gave this tank a great score for originality and its atheistic appeal...while I'm sure the Betta would prefer to live in a tank with some form of filtration, its still an improvement to how they live out their lives at your LFS in little plastic shot glasses. fish avatar
how cool is that!!!!!!!!!!!!!! fish avatar
The picture is nice and it looks great but not so sure how the fish feels in there xD. It is creative and i think yasherkoach kinda overreacted. Betta's don't need 40 gallon tanks lol, I dont know what kind of mutant betta you might have but I dont think they would know what to do with a 40 gallon to begin with. It is adequate room for a fish but maybe it would prefer better placement in a different area =P but still creative. fish avatar
This is really a cruel way to keep a fish. I just gave another member a big fat 0 for keeping a betta in a vase, and I just gave you a big fat 0 for keeping a fish in a candleabra. You may think it all cute and all, but to the fish, I am certain that the fish is absolutely miserable. You need to either keep fish in at least a 40 gallon tank or give your fish away to someone who can. This is a sick thing to do to a beautiful fish which you have. I would really think twice about keeping fish this way. Think of the fish first, then what looks cool. I am sure your fish will feel more at home other than the prison you hustled your fish into. Bad bad news pal. fish avatar
