I feel like, at the rate things are going, I'm going to end up with too many livebearers for my tanks. Probably quite soon. People aren't joking about their breeding abilities!

Maybe put in some fish that will eat them when they're teeny tiny fry? Fry can get predated on very easily, even by their own parents. If there's a lot of hiding places the fry may be able to keep out of sight until its big enough to not be eaten though.

Yes I had assumed that excess fry would be eaten given that the tank doesn't have a lot of cover in which to hide (there must be enough!) but apparently not. I don't necessarily want them to be eaten though either; they're such pretty fish
