Ammonia issue
Well, I have to admit, I feel like a beginner asking this question, however, it’s not the same thing. My 125 Gallon African Cichlid tank constantly (for the past few weeks) has had an ammonia level of .25 ppm. It seems that no matter what I do, I cannot get it to go down. I have done 50% water changes daily to no avail, as well as completely stopped feeding for a few days; however, nothing seems to be working. I have two AC 110's as well as a fluval fx5, none of which have been cleaned in months, so there should be plenty of bacteria. All my other levels are fine, I just can't figure out my ammonia, any ideas?

Re: Ammonia issue
Have you tried buying a second test kit? The first one may have gone bad.
