Bristlenose pleco

Hi guys
Iam looking for a good food to stimulate growth and good health for my guy as an alternitive to my algae wafers

any help appreciated

They like vegetables. I've seen people feed them lettuce, zucchini, cucumber, broccoli, carrot, etc. You can try different veggies and see what it enjoys. Its preferences will probably change over time, too, so make sure to try something again if it's been a few months. I'm not sure if bristlenose are a species that eat wood or not, but you might want to stick a branch in the tank just in case.

Bristlenose require wood in thier diet :)

yea i know about the wood got lots of that got it covered.

I live in SA, and here we have small sinking Cichlid granules, that's what I feed mine as well as regular bottom feeder pellets, and I had great success with breeding my last pair of Ancistris. I lost that pair :-( but have finally found an albino female and a Blue Eyed Male that are looking to breed at the moment, so all is looking good at this stage.
