Mysterious Behaviour

by Medora

I have a fairly territorial male blue gourami who has always been king of the tank. Last week, we got some new livestock. It LOOKS as though the big gourami is allowing a Molly to nibble his fins. I saw him with his body curved into a "C" shape with the molly picking away at his dorsal fin. Anyone heard of anything like this? Thoughts? Ideas? I looked at the gourami, no marks, growths, or areas of concern that I can see on him.
