just read up on Tilapia buttikoferi. sounds like you got a big and very aggressive fish. also very intelligent and interesting.

Pic #3- Looks like a hybrid of some sort. I'm thinking it's from the Cynotilapia family (Mbuna)It's looks simliar to a afra but I can't say forsure. Here are some examples of Afra's

thank you both figured 1st was baby kenyi because the pointed stripes but best to check chris i youtubed that butterkofi its huge lol best invest in another tank esparzar1 i think its that first pic you put up but the colours do change by the hour on him
for the kenyi when would i expect them to change colour if they are male

If the Kenyi is a male, it should start turning yellow at the 2-3 inch mark. Sometimes females will morph in to a male looking Kenyi (signs of yellow) to show dominance. As long as you have a big enough tank for them (at least 75 gal) with 4-5 females you should be okay but I would beware of the Kenyi, they can be very mean fish.
