Ok I had an earlier post about my tank upgrade... Now I am thinking I want to use sand as the substrate of the new tank. Is this a good idea? Will Play Sand from Home Depot be OK? I saw some things saying sand is bad for a freshwater tank, and others saying its fine. Opinions? Comments?

I found sand pretty cheap at thatpetplace.com and they do shipping deals every now and then.
