Whos heard of using peroxide in your tank?

by fihsboy

I was thinking about this the other day in chemistry class.....It will super saturate your water with oxygen. Im posting it here because it can NOT be done in saltwater. If your water has salt or other metals in it, it will oxidize the metals and cause problems. BUT, if you have a seperate tank you nurse hurt fish in......all you have to do is dose a little in the tank and it will super saturate the water with oxygen and it will revive your fish. :) Don't believe me? I have done some research and found that its already being done, which sucks majorly, I thought I had a break through, but still heres the proof. :)

That's pretty frkin cool. Don't think I'm gona pour peroxide in my tanks though.

I wouldn't have thought you could do it.

I do know that peroxide is bad in the lungs... It happens when people are put on 100% O2 for too long.

The lungs produce peroxide, and become destroyed.

yeah, its got to be carefully monitored or its not a good idea. but if you have to revive a fish, this is your best bet. :)
