help!!! tank has ick or ich

hey guys, woke this morn to find that my molly has developed white spot on her anal fin. this is ich, i got to the lfs asap and got some ich treatment. i does not say much about frequent water changes but i read that one every seconed day while treating for ich will help????? and also should i remove the carbon from the tank????

please help asap any advice will help

Add aquarium salt to the water and turn the heat up to around 80. 1 tbsp per 5 gallons in the tank. You ought to knock it out in a couple days.
