Adding a little sea salt to freshwater tanks?
I read in an article here http://dianasaquatank.tripod.com/id13.html that she recommends adding a little salt to water to make fish more healthy and fight off fungi and parasites. Is that true?

I am not sure about all that but I know a little salt wouldn't hurt, except for certain fish who require super low pH's.

Yes this is true but some scaleless freshwater fish will die rather quickly with any contact with salt. Pleco's for example, the salt will burn their skin and feel like you are dunking them in battery acid.
