good ground cover ?
i have started my first planted tank and as i have been looking at everones tanks i noticed how nice the ground cover looks. i dont really have a place i can go to get good plants so if anyone has any suggestions i would love to hear it.

how great is your lighting...???
also there are online stores, but for plants i would trust ebay more somehow... lol... it felt wierd saying that...
but ebay at least you could find out if they are clippings from other fish enthusiast' tank... and you get healthier plants that way... all of my plants that were in my planted tank came from other peoples tanks... also... give it some times and do more research...

3- 5 watts per gallon. i dont think i can pull that off. so maybe i will have to live without ground cover .... thank you

you could try using say... some kind of moss... java moss, or christmas moss might do the trick... but it's sporatic and kind of hard to control... also java fern works pretty well as a ground cover, but you need to have a heavy gauge of gravel... like rocks...
